Laya Board for Jira is a free app on the Atlassian Marketplace, listed as "Laya Board: Custom Boards & External Share for Jira". It gives you a fast, Laya-style board over your real Jira issues, inside Jira. The board reads and writes Jira directly, so every change is a real Jira change and Jira's own permissions always apply. There is nothing to migrate, and nothing to set up per project.

It is the Jira face of the laya.net board: the same board, views and Board Studio that laya.net uses, running inside Jira. Where laya.net's own help explains a feature, these articles link to it.

What you get

  • A board over your Jira issues. Columns follow your Jira board's own columns and order. Dragging a card runs a real Jira workflow transition, and the order you set is saved to Jira's rank.
  • Five views. Board, Backlog, Table, Timeline and Calendar, with filters, swimlanes and a sprint filter.
  • Board Studio. Themes, card styling, column styling and celebration effects, shared with everyone on the site.
  • External sharing. A live, read-only guest link for people outside Jira, with the fields you choose hidden. No extra Jira seat is needed.
  • More with laya.net (optional). Link a laya.net workspace to add boards from Azure DevOps, monday.com, GitHub and GitLab, master boards across up to 50 sources, native Laya boards and more.

Free, with no paid plan

Laya Board for Jira is free. Atlassian licensing is turned off for the app, and no feature is behind a paywall. You do not need a laya.net account to use it.
