Keyboard shortcuts

The command palette, the built-in shortcut cheatsheet, and every keyboard shortcut available across Laya.

Laya is fully usable with a mouse, but the keyboard is faster. Two shortcuts unlock the rest: Cmd+K (Mac) / Ctrl+K (Windows and Linux) opens the command palette, and ? opens the built-in "Keyboard shortcuts" cheatsheet from anywhere in the shell.

The command palette

Press Cmd/Ctrl+K anywhere. The palette's placeholder reads "Type to search or jump…", results need at least 2 characters, and the footer reminds you of the keys: "↑↓ navigate · ↵ open · Esc close". Results are grouped into three sections:

  • Jumps — Go to Home, Go to Orgs, Go to Profile, Go to Security, Go to Connections, Go to Alert preferences.
  • Actions — Go to my orgs, Sign out, plus per-workspace entries to open a workspace or its Docs.
  • Search — matching work items, boards and docs.

"Orgs" is the product's older label for your workspaces — the "Go to Orgs" and "Go to my orgs" entries (and the g then o shortcut below) land you on Home when you have at least one workspace.
