Last updated
How much does Planning Poker Agility cost?
Nothing. It is free for everyone on your Jira site, with no cap on users or sessions. Ready or Not has 10 scans for each site each month (see Ready or Not scans).
Where do I find Planning Poker Agility in Jira?
In the new Jira navigation, open your project’s board, choose More (•••) at the top right and pick Planning Poker Agility. In the older navigation, it is in the project sidebar. Jira’s Apps menu also opens its Get Started page.
Which project types are supported?
Jira Software projects, company-managed and team-managed, with Scrum or Kanban boards. Jira business projects, Jira Service Management and Jira Product Discovery are not supported: some parts may work, but we can’t promise they will.
Why are no issues loading when I create a session?
Usually the board’s filter or the estimation field needs fixing. See No issues load.
Why do I get an error saying “The value 'Sub-task' does not exist for the field 'issuetype'”?
Your site’s standard Sub-task issue type has been removed or renamed. See The Sub-task error.
Why can’t I find anyone when choosing a moderator, participant or observer?
Your group probably lacks Jira’s Browse users and groups permission. See No users in the dropdown.
Why do I get an error when saving an estimate?
The estimation field is usually not on the issue’s screen, or the cards don’t match the field’s type. See Set up the estimation field.
Why can’t I vote?
You are probably an observer: the session shows You are currently an observer. Choose Participate to vote. Only participants vote; observers watch.
Why do I see unexpected fields in the issue details?
The details show the issue’s text custom fields. If a Jira admin gave one of those fields a default value that applies across projects, that value shows on every issue that has the field. Ask your Jira admin to remove or narrow the default value.
How do I invite people to a session?
Share the session’s link: copy it with the link icon on All sessions or next to the session’s name. Anyone who opens the link of a public session joins as a participant. For a private session, the moderator must add people first.
Can a session have more than one moderator?
No. A session has one moderator at a time.
Can I change a session after it starts?
Yes. The moderator uses the settings (cog) button in the session to change its settings, people and issues. A finished session can’t be changed.
Who can delete a session?
The person who created it, or its moderator, from its menu (⋮) on All sessions.
How do I use JQL in the filter?
Type a JQL query in the Filter box when you select issues. See Filter issues with JQL for examples.
Is a new version coming?
Yes, a new version built on Atlassian Forge. See Moving to Atlassian Forge.
How do I get help?
Contact support, or use Need Assistance? on the All sessions page.
Email support@laya.net and include what you expected, what happened, and a link to the affected board or item so we can help quickly.
