Open Jira settings, then Apps, then Laya Board, or a project's settings sidebar: both show the same screen. The full reference is the Laya Board for Jira admin guide; this article is the summary.

What the settings screen shows

Until the site is linked, the screen offers the connect wizard. Once linked, it has a Jira sync tab, and one tab per connected tool.

SectionWhat it is for
Laya.net connectionThe linked workspace and Jira site, with Open Laya workspace ↗ and Disconnect from Laya.net.
Write-back to JiraWhether edits made on laya.net flow back into Jira, and for which projects. All projects are allowed by default, including new ones. Edit projects narrows the list; an empty list keeps write-back off. The chip shows Bridge registered or Inactive.
Sync healthLive status, counts and repair actions, with red banners when something needs you.
PermissionsWho on the site may use the higher-impact actions (below).

Permissions

Each action can be set to All members or Admins only: "By default anyone in your Jira site can do these. Restrict any to admins only."

ActionWhat it coversDefault
Share a board externallyTurn on the public guest link for a board. All members
Connect a sourceLink laya.net, or connect or mirror another tool, including master boards. All members
Disconnect & delete synced dataDisconnect the site from laya.net, or delete mirrored data. The highest impact.Admins only

One workspace per site

Each installation links to exactly one laya.net workspace. If people report a duplicate board, or say sync is broken, first check Laya.net connection to see which workspace this site is linked to: they may be looking at a different workspace.

Disconnect and uninstall

  • Disconnect from Laya.net can also delete the mirrored boards and issues on laya.net, with the checkbox in its dialog. Native Laya boards and your Jira data are not touched.
  • Uninstalling the app tells laya.net, takes share links offline, revokes the link and deletes the app's stored data on your site, including Board Studio settings.
  • Uninstalling does not delete data already mirrored to laya.net. To remove it, delete synced data or disconnect with the delete box ticked, before you uninstall.
