These are the release notes as they were published, newest first. Where today’s app works differently, a note says so.
v1.1.3, 8 February 2025: view selected issues
- View selected issues: review the issues selected for a session without scrolling through the backlog, and untick any you no longer want to estimate.
v1.1.1, 26 December 2024: clearer session stages and issue links
- Stage prompts: Awaiting Moderator to Start Estimation until the moderator starts the voting, then Voting in Progress - Finish Voting to Proceed until the moderator chooses Finish Voting. The votes are revealed automatically once every participant has voted.
- Links on issues: every issue in a session links to the issue in Jira, so anyone can read it in full.
- Fixed: the Finish Session prompt no longer appears by mistake when you add issues after all the others are estimated.
v1.1.0, 15 November 2024: Kanban support
- Kanban boards: estimation works on Kanban boards in team-managed and company-managed projects.
- Epic and status: the epic badge and the issue’s status show in the issue list, not only in the detail view.
- Re-estimate: starting a new round clears the previous votes.
- Sub-tasks: your sub-task preference is saved with your default settings.
- Faster loading of issues.
v1.0.9, 10 November 2024: more control and a consistent look
- Automatic reveal setting: moderators could turn off the automatic reveal of votes once everyone has voted.
- Parent, epic and status show in the selected issue list, as in the Jira backlog.
- Board selection: in company-managed projects, the board you are on is selected for you.
v1.0.8, 3 November 2024: richer issue details and a sub-task switch
- Issue details: the detail view shows the parent issue with its epic badge, linked issues (such as blocked by or blocks) and sub-tasks.
- Sub-task switch: show or hide sub-tasks when you pick issues.
- Faster loading for large sessions.
- Scrolling issue list: the list scrolls on its own, so the detail view stays in sight.
- Tidier layout: labels are easier to read, and reference issues take no space when there are none.
v1.0.7, 28 October 2024: JQL filter
- JQL filter: filter the backlog with a JQL query. See Filter issues with JQL.
- Type your own estimate: the moderator can type any value as the final estimate and save it, for example to round an average.
v1.0.6, 24 October 2024: average estimation
- Average estimation: the average of the votes shows above the chart, and the moderator can pick it as the final estimate.
v1.0.5, 24 July 2024: custom text fields in the detail view
- Faster throughout the app.
- People picker: loads people page by page, so everyone can be found.
- Custom text fields show in the issue’s detail view.
v1.0.4, 21 May 2024: reorder issues
- Reorder issues in a session. The new order is saved to the Jira backlog too.
- Sprints first: sprint issues show above the backlog when you pick issues and in the session.
- Faster loading of backlog issues, with a loading indicator.
- Session links no longer use plain session numbers.
v1.0.3, 14 April 2024: dark theme
- Dark theme: the app follows Jira’s dark theme.
- A Need Assistance? button, to send a question or a suggestion to the team from the app.
- A Review Us button on the session page, to leave a review.
