Docs, Roadmap, Initiatives and Calendar

The workspace pages around your boards: rich documents, a portfolio roadmap, initiative tracking and a cross-board calendar.

Alongside boards, every workspace has four sibling pages in the sidebar — Docs, Roadmap, Initiatives and Calendar — that put words, plans and dates next to the work itself.

Docs

The Docs page is the workspace's document home, with topbar buttons Ask AI and New doc. The landing page organises documents into Favorites, Recently visited, Recently updated, Created by you, Folders and Browse by tag. Starting a doc offers templates: Blank, PRD, Meeting notes, Decision log, Retro, Onboarding and Project brief.

  • Docs are rich text with the same editor as card descriptions, and support nested folders, tags, favourites, duplication, snapshots (version history), inline notes, doc comments and linked work.
  • A doc can be marked ✓ Verified (“Verified accurate”); if the doc or its linked work changes afterwards, the badge switches to a stale state so readers know to re-check.
  • Collaboration is presence-based: an eye icon shows how many others are viewing, and when someone else saves, an “↻ Updated · reload” pill appears so you can pull in their changes. There is no character-by-character co-editing.
  • A doc can be shared with a public link — see Sharing boards publicly.

Roadmap

The Roadmap page plots initiatives and epics on one horizon, with five view tabs: Timeline, Now / Next / Later, Portfolio, Sprint and Milestones. Items carry start and finish dates, progress, a health state, a confidence percentage, an owning initiative and a strategic pillar.

  • Group by Team · Board, Initiative, Status, Strategic pillar or None; zoom between Quarter, Month, Week and Day.
  • Toolbar toggles: snap drags to sprint boundaries, show dependency lines, and highlight the critical path (the longest dependency chain).
  • Top-bar actions: Copy public link, Presentation mode and Export as PNG.
  • An insight strip summarises On timeline, On track, At risk, Off track, Avg confidence and Dependencies.
  • Planning aids include what-if scenarios (default Live plan), baseline drift overlays (default No baseline), cross-board releases, a plan change history, and an AI panel for risk analysis, auto-scheduling, drafting Now/Next/Later and summarising changes.

Initiatives

Initiatives are the layer above epics: an initiative owns epics, supports child initiatives, collaborators, milestones and status updates. The index page sorts by Target finish, Health, Owner, Progress % or Name and groups by None, Pillar, Owner, Health or Horizon.

An initiative's detail page has six tabs — Overview, Linked work, Milestones, Status updates, Children and Activity — with Health, Confidence, Progress and Window editable inline in the header. Lifecycle actions include Mark cancelled (cancelled initiatives stay searchable but drop out of the active roadmap) and Delete initiative.

Calendar

The workspace Calendar aggregates events across every board you can access (there is also a per-board calendar view), in four modes: month, week, day and agenda. Filter chips cover the event kinds Meeting, Release, Milestone, Deadline, Ceremony, Custom and Issue due, and sprint overlays are drawn on top.
