Page status and approved exports

Mark Confluence pages In review or Approved with Doc status, and export approved pages only.

On this page

Laya Export Studio keeps a status on Confluence pages, so you can see which pages are ready to share and leave the rest out of exports. The status is stored on the page itself, as a Confluence content property.

Doc status on the page

The page byline shows Doc status: the page's status, or Not set. Choose In review to mark a page as waiting for review, or Approve to mark it ready to share. The change is saved as you, with the date, so you need permission to edit the page.

Those are the two statuses you can set in the app today. A page set some other way may show Draft, NeedsUpdate, Deprecated or Archived.

Export approved pages only

In the exporter's settings, on the Governance tab, choose Export only Approved pages, or Exclude drafts. Pages left out this way are skipped, not counted as failures. If every page is left out, the export says so.

Page status can be searched with Confluence CQL, using the field laya_status. The app also defines laya_needsreview, laya_class, laya_wordcount, laya_nextreview and laya_owner.
