Templates and branding

Pick a Template: a layout such as Documentation (title page and table of contents), Article (minimal, no cover), Confluence Page Layout or Info sheet (landscape), or one your team saved. LanguageEnglish (UK) or English (US), for how {{date}} is written.
MetadataThe document title, and Tagged (accessible) PDF.
ProtectionA Password on the file. Polished PDF only.
The preview shows the first page before you export.

Large exports

  • Every export is built in the background. The exporter shows progress, page by page, and offers the download when the file is ready.
  • Large files download in parts, which your browser joins up. Keep the tab open until the download finishes.
  • Download the file before you close the exporter: Confluence keeps no list of past exports, so to get it again, export again.
  • An export can include up to 100,000 pages. Images over 20 MB are left out.
  • To keep the service fair, each person can start up to 10 exports in 5 minutes.
  • Only pages you can read are exported.
