Bring Laya into the tools you use

Laya meets your work in two directions. Built-in connectors bring boards from Jira, Azure DevOps, monday.com, GitHub and GitLab into Laya. Marketplace apps take the Laya experience the other way — installed inside the platform your team already lives in.

Connectors vs apps

Two ways Laya meets your tools

The difference is simply where each piece runs — and both can serve the same team at once.

Inside Laya

Built-in connectors

Configured from within Laya, connectors mirror boards from your existing tools onto Laya's faster surface with two-way sync — nothing is migrated, and edits flow back to the source. Jira and Azure DevOps sign in with OAuth; monday.com, GitHub and GitLab connect with a personal API token (GitHub and GitLab also offer OAuth where it is configured).

Inside your platform

Marketplace apps

Installed from another platform's marketplace, these apps run inside that product rather than inside Laya — so your team gets a Laya-quality board without switching tabs, and without anyone needing a Laya account to use it. The first is Laya Board for Jira, and linking a Laya workspace later is always optional.

A faster board over your real Jira issues

Laya Board renders a fast, beautiful board inside Jira itself — dragging a card runs a real Jira workflow transition, and every edit respects your Jira permissions. Link it to a Laya workspace when you are ready and Jira changes stream into Laya, with master boards and guest sharing on top.

What's next

A growing area

Apps are how Laya travels to where your team already works. Laya Board for Jira is the first, and this family will grow as more apps ship. In the meantime, the built-in connectors already cover Jira, Azure DevOps, monday.com, GitHub and GitLab from the Laya side.
