AI has a daily fair-use allowance
Members, boards and storage are genuinely uncapped — there is no hidden meter. The one thing that is metered is AI: AI features share a generous daily fair-use limit, measured over a rolling 24-hour window, that exists to keep the free plan sustainable for everyone.
If your workspace uses the allowance up, AI actions pause with the message “The AI usage limit for this account has been reached. Try again later.” Nothing is broken and nothing else stops working — boards, sync, docs and everything non-AI carry on as normal, and the allowance frees up again as the 24-hour window moves on. When early access ends
Licensing options come later. Paid options are planned for after early access, with notice before anything takes effect — no dates or prices have been announced, and nothing changes for you today. You can always check where you stand in the app: the Plan card in your workspace settings shows an “Early access” pill.

How much does Laya cost?

Do I need a credit card to sign up?
No. Creating an account asks for no payment details, and Laya holds none — so there is nothing to cancel if you decide it is not for you.
Is there a per-seat charge or a member limit?
No. During early access there is no per-seat charge and no seat limit — invite as many people as you need. The Seats card on your workspace Members tab confirms it: "Seat limit: Unlimited during early access".
What is the daily AI fair-use allowance?
AI features share a generous daily fair-use limit measured over a rolling 24-hour window. If it runs out, AI actions show "The AI usage limit for this account has been reached. Try again later." — nothing else in Laya is affected, and the allowance frees up again as the window moves on.

Where can I see my plan?
Open Settings, then General, in your workspace. The Plan card shows your current plan with an "Early access" pill, and the Seats card on the Members tab shows the unlimited seat limit.
